Private® Springbank 23 Year Old Private Barrel – 8789976875305

Released in 2019, a single cask release from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, bottled by independent bottler Private Barrel Co. Matured for 22 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being married together in a hogshead and then finished in a second-fill Oloroso sherry cask. Only 324 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 50.7%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Aromas of sherry and ripe summer fruits.

Palate: Rich and full bodied on the palate with a lovely velvet texture and hints of sugared almonds, subtle spice and some salty liquorice.

Finish: A long and warm finish with some dried fruit, a little peat smoke and hints of sherry.
